We are proud to announce that Labcom has been awarded PRIN (Progetti di Rilevante Interesse Nazionale) funding for the research project BUMOLDS: A Business Model for Local Delivery Platforms.

In 2023, the Italian Ministry of University and Research selected BUMOLDS for funding, recognizing its innovative approach to studying business models in local delivery platforms. The research aims to explore different forms, actors and structures of local delivery platforms.

Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore research unit, led by Silvia Biraghi and composed by Angela Beccanulli, Rossella Gambetti, and André Luiz Vieira Soares, is investigating the consumption dynamics of local delivery platforms, including:
✔️ User motivations and selection criteria
✔️ Barriers and challenges in adoption
✔️ Sustainability and ethical concerns also connected to platform violence

BUMOLDS is led by Annamaria Tuan, Associate Professor at the University of Bologna, serving as Principal Investigator and brings together scholars from Università di Pisa, Università di Bergamo, and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, fostering a strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
