Edoardo Teodoro Brioschi

Edoardo Teodoro Brioschi was Professor of Business Communication Economics and Techniques at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. Since 1965, he has collaborated with Professor Mario Apollonio, the founder of the Higher School of Social Communications at the university, where he was invited to teach the Doctrine and Techniques of Advertising starting in the 1971/72 academic year, and subsequently Business Economics. In the 1972/73 academic year, he was invited by the Faculty of Economics and Commerce to initiate the teaching of Advertising Economics and Techniques, where he held the first university chair in this subject in Italy starting in 1980. In the 1993/94 academic year, he was invited to start teaching Advertising Economics and Techniques at the Faculty of Economics in the Piacenza campus, to which was later added the course in Business Communication Economics and Techniques at the Faculty of Economics in the Milan campus. In 2005, he received the 'Charles H. Sandage Award for Teaching Excellence' from the American Academy of Advertising. He is the founder and President of the Scientific Committee and the Business Communication Research Laboratory (LABCOM), established by the Catholic University in 1998.

Rossella Gambetti

Rossella Gambetti is the Director of Labcom and Professor of Branding and Consumer Culture at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, where she is also Director of the International Postgraduate Master in Corporate Communication. Rossella is an interpretive scholar whose research is focused on emerging technocultural phenomena happening in digital and social media platforms and shaping contemporary branding and consumer culture. She is an expert in netnography and has conducted several netnographic explorations of consumer subcultures and the social media worlds related among others to amateurial chefs, virtual influencers, counter-brand communities, youth tobacco consumption and Chinese cosmetics consumption. Rossella is also Research Fellow of the Hufschmid Chair of Strategic Public Relations and Business Communication (Chair: Prof. Robert Kozinets) at the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Rossella has published over 70 papers in international academic journals and edited volumes on topics related to contemporary branding, consumer culture and social media. She is co-author of the book Influencers and creators: business, culture and practice published by Sage in 2023 and has co-edited the book Netnography Unlimited, published by Routledge in 2021. She has been co-chair of the first and the second global netnography conference (NETNOCON23 and NETNOCON24).

Silvia Biraghi

Silvia Biraghi, PhD, is a Senior Assistant Professor at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan, Italy) and Research Associate at LABCOM (Research Lab on Business Communication). She was visiting scholar at the Boston University Department of Mass Communication, Advertising and Public Relations, and at the Medill School, Northwestern University (Chicago). She is an interpretive scholar, specialized in netnographic inquiry. Her research interests are usually context-driven and fueled by a deep curiosity for emerging phenomena within consumer collectives and the intricate dynamics of interaction between consumers and brands, which contribute to the formation of innovative connections, transformations, and projects. Her passion lies in the realms of branding, consumer culture, and technomediated consumption. She has published in journals such as Marketing Theory, Journal of Business Research, Futures, and Management Decision.

Angela A. Beccanulli

Angela A. Beccanulli, PhD, is Post-doc Researcher at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan, Italy). After national and international professional experiences in communication agencies, she joined LABCOM (Research Lab on Business Communication) as research fellow in 2018. She in an interpretative researcher and her current scholarly works are dedicated to the exploration of object-consumer relationships, technology, tourism and consumption, and cultural branding. She has been a visiting scholar at USI – Università della Svizzera Italiana, Tourism and Communication department where she participated in different UNESCO projects. At Università Cattolica, she teaches Customer Behavior and the Semantic Web, Brand Communication in the Art and Tourism Sectors, Advanced Economics and Management of Art, Brand Communication and Corporate Communication and is a Tutor at the International Postgraduate Master in Corporate Communication.

Stefania Micaela Vitulli

Stefania Micaela Vitulli is a creative and project management consultant, journalist, drama critic and playwriter. She is adjunct professor at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, where she teaches Corporate Communication, Sustainability Communication, Personal Branding and Adv Management. She is research fellow at LabCom, UCSC, and professor and Senior Tutor at the Master in Corporate Communication, UCSC. She is co-author of “Ceo branding nella reputation economy (Egea, 2021) and of articles and academic papers on green communication, sustainability, CEO branding and the reputation economy. She has a diploma in Buddhist Philosophy at the Dalai Lama Nalanda University, New Delhi.

Alessandro Martello

Alessandro Martello is Adjunct professor of Brand Management and Board Member of scientific committee in the International Master’s program of Brand and Corporate Communication at the “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Milan”. He started his carrier in an Italian Bank based in Munich before moving to a large German FMCG firm based in Düsseldorf where he held the position of international marketing and export director until the end of 2013. In 2014 he founded Italian Brand Factory, a start-up’ accelerator and consulting firm specialized in open innovation protocols.

André Luiz Vieira Soares is a Research Fellow and Adjunct Professor at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart – UCSC, Milan. During his academic journey, he has had visiting periods at the University of Alicante - UA (Alicante, Spain), the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Ciudad Real, Spain), and the University of the Azores (Ponta Delgada, Portugal). His thematic areas include sustainable technology adoption, marketing and branding, reputation, institutional and organizational behavior, and tourism management. He is also a member of LabCom, UCSC, researching consumption and virtual platforms.
